Handmade Needle Felted Maroon Owl Sculpture, wearing little wire glasses presented in a square tin, with a window and a handmade "mattress" in owl fabric. Fully felted sculpture (approx. max dimensions 6cm(h) x 6.5cm(w) x 4.5cm(d)). Ideal gift, to cherish and which will hopefully keep putting a smile someone's face.

Needle felting is the process of interlocking wool fibres by stabbing it hundreds of times with a barbed needle. The barbs catch the scales on the fibre and cause them to tangle and bind together. All my sculptures are fully felted and do not contain a polystyrene middle as many others do. To create a 3D sculpture takes literally hours of work and hundreds of stabs from start to finish. Each sculpture is entirely unique and I hope you enjoy your individual needle felted sculpture.
NB. Not suitable for children under 3 years due to wool fibres and small parts.
